I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool, for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive” - Oriah Mountain Dreamer. Where and What do you currently study?
“I’m currently studying Nursing at the University of Hong Kong”
Why did you choose Pinnacle Lead for your internship and what are you trying to get out of it?
“Pinnacle Lead’s internship definitely stood out to me given their mission of adopting innovative methodology in talent advisory and offering opportunities to gain exposure in the APAC innovation ecosystem whilst working within a start-up environment itself. I sought for an experience where the working environment embraces innovation and being impulsive in striving for excellence. On top of that, I really wish to learn from the experienced team on how they can leverage their talent advisory business and overall contribute to the talent landscape. It is very exciting that my aspirations are aligned and in sync to Pinnacle Lead’s mission and direction. This is week three and I am inspired day to day by their entrepreneurial mindset, equipping me to think further in terms of my career path and personal growth.”
How is your experience so far?
“It has been extremely good so far. It is a very fruitful journey even thought it’s only week three. Times flown by at Pinnacle Lead. What would be the expectations of being an intern? Maybe it’s just an experience of working in a real life situation or getting more exposure under a certain industry? But whilst I’m only in my third week, I feel that Pinnacle Lead is totally different to the traditional. It totally endows a new meaning to “internship”. I can perform what a talent advisory consultant is actually doing in a real-life situation. Everyday, I achieve take on more and more responsibilities and is given the accountability to get things done, which in turn gives me the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone whilst having the guidance and support from the team.
”There is no stupid questions”, this was what I was told on my first day. The environment is definitely open and filled with meaningful discussion. What’s more, I can receive personal growth here. Everyone in Pinnacle Lead is willing to share their experience and wish to give us inspiration that can aspire us. This for me is extremely important at this stage of my life given that I sought for clarity in my future career path.
By them believing in the nurturing of the next generation, it gives me the confidence to dream and create impact for the future too.”
Who do you want to talk to if you can speak to anyone in the world and why?
“I would love to speak to Catherine Wood, the founder of ARK. I want to gain insights from her in viewing the opportunity of new leading technologies that ARK believes will change our lives for the better. An insight into how artificial intelligence, DNA sequencing, gene editing and adaptive robotics can change the way we do things. It’ll be a great opportunity to learn more someone that I strive to become and be inspired by her way of thinking in predicting the development of these “future golds”. ”
